Fasten Off Yarn-A-Long 2025

Big Off-Ravelry event for knitters and crocheters

It is the end of November, and that means it's time for a lot of crafting for the coming holidays. If you like to knit and crochet together with other people, the event Fasten Off Yarn-A-Long (FOYAL) is for you. It is an accessible, inclusive stitch-a-long event geared to promoting and supporting independent crochet and knitting designers. And I'm a participating designer again this year.

This year FOYAL database has patterns from 90 designers. Each designer can choose which platform with published patterns they want to promote, their own website, Etsy, Payhip, LoveCraft, etc, everything that is not Ravelry.

FOYAL has a search engine, and you have many search options to find interesting patterns.

Also, you can join different platforms (I'm doing Discord, for example) to chat with designers and fellow crafters. Play bingo and games, and win prizes!

There will also be interviews with designers: like Ask-Me-Anything chat, Video panels, and Instagram Lives.

Don't forget to follow FOYAL on social media: Instagram, or Bluesky, or Facebook, etc.

The event runs from November 21st to December 31st, 2025, and you can jump at any point during this time.

From November 21st to December 5th, many patterns are on SALE.
