Big Ravelry end-of-the-year event

This is the time of the year again to start Indie Design Gift-A-Long, or GAL for short.

The Indie Gift-A-Long is a huge Ravelry event with many participating designers and many more knitters and crocheters. And I joined this event with my designs for the 4th year in a row.

This year, the total number of participating designers (PD) is 204: I count that 144 of them are knit designers, 21 are crochet designers (4 of them also do Tunisian crochet), and 39 use multiple crafts (knit, crochet, 7 of them Tunisian crochet, and 1 machine knitting). So, I’m one of the 39 who design for knitters and crocheters, and this year I have also published my first Tunisian crochet pattern.

Enough for the statistics, what is actually happening during the GAL?

The event starts on November 20 at 5pm (US-EST) and runs through December 31 at midnight (US-EST). You can join Knit/Crochet-A-Long by choosing any patterns from PD and make your projects in 1 out of 8 categories (no one will stop you from making only one, you can do several or all categories). If you want to be eligible for prizes, you need to choose from any paid single published patterns from PD, and there are more than 20000 patterns!

And this big event always begins with a promotion period. From November 20 at 5pm (US-EST) through November 26 at 11:59 pm (US-EST), you can get 25% off patterns in sale bundles of each PD. Use the coupon code giftalong2025 at checkout to get the discount. Each PD added 10-20 patterns in the sale bundle (total is close to 4000 patterns).
